The Acadian Fishermen's Co-op is owned by some 95 member fishermen who live along the south shore or Prince Edward Island. Currently, 68 fishermen are registered with Thisfish and participate in the tracing of our catch from Lobster Fishing Area 25 in the western side of the Northumberland Strait.
Each day, from August 10 to October 9, we land our catch in seven habours along the south shore. From here, the live lobsters are shipped to our processing facility near Abram's Village. The fresh live lobsters are processed each day into a variety of high-quality products that are shipped around the world.
