New tracing widget allows you to trace catch from your own website

With a simple snippet of web code, anyone can now embed a ThisFish tracing widget in their website. It’s part of ThisFish’s strategy to help seafood businesses integrate traceability into their online marketing and branding.

The tracing widget allows customers to trace seafood products from a business’s own website. Customers simply input the code in the widget and press trace. Information on the seafood then appears in a new browser window from ThisFish.info.

"The tracing widget is just the start of our branding and marketing solutions," says ThisFish manager Eric Enno Tamm. "We are working on some exciting new branding and marketing partnership that we hope to announce in the new year."

The tracing widget has a minimum width of 264 pixels, but no maximum width. Its width will scale to the dimension of the website’s format. The tracing widget is free for anyone to use.
